I am Dr. Ben Curtis, a board-certified pediatric dentist in Canton, TX. I was born and raised in the small East Texas town of Wills Point, where my family has lived for over 125 years. I currently reside with my wife and four children in Wills Point, where we are active members of the Van Zandt County community.
I attended Baylor College of Dentistry for dental school and the pediatric dental residency program. I went on to earn the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) certification. As an advocate for children’s oral healthcare, I was awarded the prestigious American Academy of Pediatrics (AAPD) Harris Fellowship for my research.
Staying at the forefront of pediatric dental technology is vital to providing the best possible care for my patients, which is why I am passionate about laser dentistry and highly specialized in laser treatments for children. I use an all-tissue erbium laser for tongue and lip ties, soft tissue pathology, and shot-free fillings and crowns.
I have had the opportunity to travel across the nation, teaching pediatric laser procedures and techniques to fellow dentists in hands-on workshops and large CE courses. I have also organized and hosted national Tongue Tie Conferences and lectured at large conferences like the AAPD annual session, the Greater New York Dental Conference and the Southwest Dental Conference.
Welcome to Curtis Kids Dentistry, where your child will experience world-class care with a small-town feel.
